Do you use default skin replacement mods?

Hey! This is a really great post, and just what I was looking for today! I don't play with any CC or mods, and don't really desire to download anything besides default replacements for eyes and MAYBE skin. I like some of these that you all have posted because they're "Maxis Match" ish and that's definitely what I'm leaning towards.

Quick question, does the little wrench icon show up on the default swatches? I know it's such a silly question, like the most minuscule detail, but I want to keep things neat lol.

@storyy Yes, default replacements are considered cc, so they do have the wrench. You have effectively replaced all the game skin and eyes with cc skin and eyes, so you get the wrench.

I used to, but removed all CC a few weeks ago and just stick to mods now. I was tired of CC breaking and seeing people missing legs.

Really? My skin swatches don't have the wrenches, only the eyes.

Same. Would definitely recommend this one. Looks a lot better than the in game skin, but still matches the games aesthetic.

(I'm on mobile so I don't have any examples, but the sim in my profile pic uses that skinblend)

None. I only use script mods, no items or body parts or anything.

Two reasons : I find most look hideous and ruins the art style of the game, and also I remember the mess that was custom content in S3 that made me avoid it forever.
