- Usually not because I can't be bothered to. But sometimes if I feel like it... I just don't like the annoying particles that the skill building lot traits have (they ruin my screenshots)
- I don't use them that much, I usually forget that they exist lol.
- I mostly use the private dwelling trait so I don't have townies constantly bothering my sims
- I used to ignore them, but now I'm much more active about picking the ones I want.

Meadow Thayer is my I see dead people child.
So the Haunted trait is being used to attract ghosts.

I also have Cat Sims--illegal human/cat genetic experiments liberated from a mad scientist.
They are attracting the areas stray cats.

They are good for a little Scenario Immersion buffing.
I can turn them off when they get to annoying. Yeah, those cats can get really annoying. - I consistently forget about them but when I remember I use them. They can be quite helpful.
- sjofn778 years agoSeasoned VeteranI use them, but I wound up installing a mod that got rid of the visual effect for the traits that had them, as they were kinda ugly for screenshots.
- Simmerville8 years agoLegendI checked "sometimes", because I think they might be good for some lots in the future, but at the moment they are on most lots as I added them when they were introduced. I shortly regret it all, and removed them from lots I play often. I *hate* those swirling icons, especially the fact that they don't go away in cam mode. It ruins a filmtake or photo with those things.
So, in the future I might use only lot traits that give no floating symbol madness. But i no longer believe that every lot needs traits. - I use them when it makes sense for the lot. So the internet café next to the high school is a Teen Hangout, the house with the enormous kitchen gets the Chef's Kitchen trait, the family home in the richer neighborhood has Good Schools, etc.
- simsimsere8 years agoSeasoned AceI like to put one lot trait per community lot, but I don't like the ones with sparkles so I rarely use those. Sometimes I choose a lot trait like "good schools" or "cursed" and give it to all 4-5 lots in the neighbourhood.
