Do you use pre-created rooms when building?

I've only recently began looking through all the pre-created rooms available, and I have to say they are well made. Also, I like how most professions have one only available after someone in your household as reached level 10 in that profession; it gives me something to work towards to place all the other items I've earned while rising in level (kinda like earning trophies and at max rank I get a case to hold them all).

If anything, even if I don't use them, they are inspiring to look at.

Depends on what I want to do. Or if I'm in a hurry or not. And how much money the Sim character has. I did the 2nd week especially when got more funds.

I've only used them in one build. Normally I build everything myself from scratch because I love building/decorating. In this case though, I was in a hurry to start playing a challenge and didn't need to be fussy about the build. However, I did change the object positions around and switched some of them out for other similar objects. Actually, in the end, the rooms didn't look very much like the originals. Oh well, at least they gave me a good starting point for that build and saved myself a little time. :)
