Do you use the new MAC makeup?

I do am on console and I don't have access to cc or mods so any no content is a true blessing

I haven't updated yet but I get the impression that I won't like most of it, or use it regularly, once I do.

I like the blush and a couple of the lipsticks, but am not a fan of the rest, unfortunately.

I like the one gradient lipstick, but I would uninstall all the rest if I could.

I like some of the lipsticks, the more casual looking eye shadows and the blush, though you can’t see it on darker skin tones.

The eyeliners however, ew ! Why give us stuff we’re not gonna use instead of versatile stuff we could use all the time ?
Also, one of the eyeliners looks like, well you know.....

I like the lip stuff, I like one of the cheek options and only one of the eye shadows. I really hate the eye-liner. The solid eye-liner looks horrible. I saw a townie using the under-eye liner with the "diamond" looking spot and she some how pulled it off but not my jam.

I could be wrong but I think the blush ones are meant to be more for contour. The one that covers the whole face is the one I've been using. I find one that matches the best to the skin tone of that sim and it seems to have a slight contour affect.

If I come up with a look I want to make where it uses the MAC makeup, I'll use it. If not, I won't.

Some. I really don't use much makeup in the first place; mostly in the formal category, and sometimes the party category. And then there's the fact I don't like real-life brands in my game. That being said, I have used it. One, maybe two types of the MAC-branded makeup in each category. The rest of it is a little odd. While often seen on runway models, most people don't wear it. Thus, I don't use it. But it keeps coming up on townies! Even when MCCC is set to draw Sims exactly as they were created! All of those Sims I know did not use that makeup when they were created; either by me or other Simmers. And for the most part, many of those Sims long predate this makeup.

It is very high-quality looking. As good as much of the CC makeup.

Lipstick probably moreso my only favorite takeaway for it and the one eyeshadow with the highlight at the corner of the eyes. (The face blushes isn't too bad).

Everything else seems too much like costume makeup. Probably only good for my sims to wear when Spooky Day comes around.

The only lipstick that was 'eh' for me though I do wanna like it is the gloss one. Perhaps overly done in shininess where it looks a bit odd, plus not soft enough to compliment all skin tones since there's not a lot of choices for decent gloss (especially in color) ones. Though everything else looks good.

Just wish all of the makeup could be better. Makes you have a better appreciation for the Luxury Party makeup.
