Yes. I liked the challenge and played through the story several times to see how things worked using various scenarios. I also like the town of StrangerVille itself. I think the pack introduced some of the best pre-made households in the game like Erwin, the Siggworths, and the members of the Eclectic Arts household. Most of the townies that are scientists. or in the military are also pretty cool. I especially like the MIB agents. The game finally managed to generate a group of townies with some decent traits instead of the usual boring ones like mean, evil, erratic, slob, romantic, and glutton. They're not all perfect, of course, but I've saved quite a few of them to My Library to use in various saves. I've also kept several Conspiracy Theorists.
I just moved a Sim to Glimmerbrook because I wanted to see what winter looks like there. Once he got settled I had him invite some friends to visit. There were 6 faces of Sims that he had never met on his call list and they were all designated as acquaintances. None of these were the Sages or pre-made residents, of course. He now has 12 fake acquaintances on his call list. I guess the game thinks my Sim needs to know every new spellcaster. My Sim isn't a spellcaster and hasn't been to the Magic Realm.
I might move him back to StrangerVille where thankfully, the brain trust behind this game did not program forcing your Sim to become acquainted with everyone wandering by the house.
If anyone needs "baby daddy" prospects for their 100 Baby "Challenge" just move to Glimmerbrook.
