Do your landlords get paid rent?

This bug concerns me the most and although I would love some of my legacy Sims to get into the renting business I'm not sure if that's a good idea at the moment unfortunately (I don't cheat for money).

I did a test speed run (without mods) to see if I get rent and it worked as expected, but this was a very artificial scenario (my Sim never left the lot or went to work, I never reloaded the save or switched households), so please only take part in this poll if you can answer this question for "regular" gameplay.

And since I saw lilsimsie questioning herself if she just missed getting the rent: you actually do get a notification if rent comes in, so I'd say it's hard to miss ;)
