My sims enjoy visiting other worlds. There are other members of their family in other worlds so they go visiting them, and also visit the park in Willow Creek a lot. Also there are different things to enjoy visiting or festivals in other worlds.
My sims visit other worlds to meet friends, to look for collectibles or just for fun. 🙂
Child sims visit the different parks, that are updated with lots of things for them to play with.

In my main save tho, I only use few worlds, mostly mimic my real life surroundings, and my sims travel between them freely.. Other worlds like Sulani, Tartosa, Mt Komorebi are for vacation use only, like those would be in here rl.
In other saves all sims travel to wherever I currently want them to 🙂
