Mine regularly visit other worlds. One reason is that I cluster worlds together and imagine them as the same world. Currently Chestnut Ridge, Willow Creek, Glimmerbrook and Newcrest are all "outskirts of Black Spire". Mua Pel'am is a much larger island consisting of Tartosa and Sulani. So often when my sims travel to what is technically a different world, in my lore they are still in their homeworld.
My currently active household of six has one motivated, but little skilled cook (skill 3) and five very kitchenwork averse sims, so I take them out to eat almost daily. (I love eating and watching my sims eat, so it's not a sacrifice).
It is great that you take your sims out for meals each day @EnkiSchmidt 🙂 I also like seeing my sims eating at various places and worlds. It is nice seeing them having various festival foods or cooking foods on outside grills at different places, . My sims have high cooking skills but still like eating out.

My Sims often travel between their home world and other worlds with which, in my mind, they have connections. For example, in my longest-running save, my young adult Sim grew up in Willow Creek and moved to Brindleton Bay. His parents and siblings still lived in the family residence, and he had lots of long-time friends in the WC. Then he started dating a Willow Creek girl, which gave him even more reason to visit there.
He regularly visited festivals in San Myshuno and made friends with Sims from Windenburg, so he added that world to his "domain." Worlds like Mt. Komorebi and Sulani were vacation destinations, especially after his grandparents retired to a beach home in Sulani.

It is lovely and special that after your sims moved to Brindleton Bay, he enjoyed visiting his family and friends in Willow Creek from where he grew up @MoonlightGraham 🙂 He would have also enjoy catching up with his friends that he had made whilst visiting the festivals in San Myshuno. It is nice that he could combine having a beach vacation in Sulani with also spending special family time with his retired grandparents.

It's interesting to see that quite a few of you plan outings based on distance from the home world.

- simsplayer8182 years agoHero@Bluegayle That's exactly like me! This is why I love using the first person camera while snorkelling on a tropical island... also because I can't swim so my Sims head off to Sulani and I live vicariously through them! 🏝️

@simsplayer818Good swimmer here, but very sensitive to sun, so I can only go to the beach at "vampire happy hour". Sulani activities in first person view all the way!

I also like having my sim travel to Sulani also @Bluegayle 🙂 so that I can enjoy the warmth and scenic views through them.
