Or are they for the most part homebodies?
I only play one save, one family and don't get to play a rotation of different families in different worlds. My sims have friends and extended family members in all the worlds so they do a lot of visiting. I also have different venues in each world. My sims are always out and about on the weekends. Restaurants, club and hobby lots, museums, cafes, bars, etc.
Do your sims regularly visit other worlds?
At the moment my sims are bit of homebodies
since I have so many worlds that are partially incomplete
(the incomplete part being community lots 😅)
but I try to remember to take them out every now and then
cause yeah not everyone is loner vampire like you Simmingal 🤣
I regard the 'worlds' of Sims 4, for the most part, as regionally linked. San Myshuno, San Sequoia, and Windenberg are all part of SimCity, for instance, but are distinct districts or boroughs within it: Willow Creek is a suburb of it, and Brindleton Bay and Moonwood Mills are more like small towns in the country. Del Sol, Strangetown, Chestnut Ridge, and Oasis Springs are another cluster which I usually play as removed from the 'main' cluster, though how far they are depends on the story: they're not like a continent away or anything, but usually far enough away that going there is significant. Korembi and Sulani are played as distinct Places that people Go To, and when they Go To them, they stay for several days. My sims travel within the main cluster (SimCity) frequently, since I like accepting invitations to go party or prank or whatever. I haven't played with Tomorang enough to know where I want to fit it in, but I'd probably make it another Place that's near Mt Korembi. If Korembi is in mountain country, Tomorang would be at sea level.
When I do homeless challenges, changing neighborhoods always consumes a 'day', so the sim has to wait 24 hours before moving again.
I'm only playing one family at the moment and they are homebodies for the most part. Occasionally, they'll venture out if it's for a holiday or an aspiration, or to meet new sims, etc but mostly just stay at home!
Absolutely. Although my Sims do spend a lot of time at home (those books aren't going to write themselves), I send them all over the place when it's time to socialize or work out or the like, not to mention when I'm working on that snooper aspiration. That takes a lot of traveling about. 😉
I do have my list of what locations are "close" to each other if I say, want to visit a library and there isn't one in any of the world's neighborhoods. My Del Sol Valley actress who loves the outdoors visits a park in San Sequoia so often that I do consider moving out there.

This is me too, I know I have replied here before, but I have so many unused worlds what simply do not fit to my "close" in my main save... that I have been thinking of building them as vacation worlds, full of vacation rentals.
Like my Sulani and Mt Komorebi are purely vacation destinations, with few locals living there for setup. My sims only visit when actual vacation.
San Sequoia might be one, and Del Sol Valley all communitylots if not counted the Pinnacle. Let's say sims vacationing in San Sequoia can take daytrips to DSV , to see the stars.
Countryside of Windenburg is full of small rental cabins... Island has some castles as museum, art gallery or cafe.. Old town with B&B above bars and cafe. Rest communitylots.

I think The Goths' house was one of my favorites, but then again , they are one of my favorite families in the Sims franchise! I love the atmosphere as well! A few months ago I saw a Let's Play YouTube series that was someone named Whiney Brit playing The Sims Bustin' Out! It brought back a lot of good memories! ❤️
@simsplayer818 I do watch some Sims on YouTube (YouTube videos were responsible for me having to get The Sims 2, after all, and that turned out to be my obsession! 🤪😅) But I don't watch as many as you would think. When I do watch a Sims 4 YouTube video, it often is not a Let's Play and instead I'm more likely to watch a news video, a review video, a building video, or a video on lore. But even then, I usually don't watch actual gameplay in Live Mode unless it's from a person in the EA Creator Network that got access to play an advance copy of a pack, or somebody really wacky like Call Me Kevin. 🤣
But the exception to that is when I'm feeling nostalgic for old Sims games like Bustin' Out or Sims 1 and Sims 2, or the Urbz, My Sims, or Sims Medieval. So I enjoyed Whiney Brit's play through of Sims Bustin' Out! I was in a nostalgic mood one day! ❤️
