Do Your Sims Regularly Visit Other Worlds?

I would die if my Sims weren't able to visit the other worlds!

One interesting thing is that one of my sims have a the traveller lifestyle, so she often gets extremely bored when she hasn't gone anywhere interesting in a while, the type of being bored that will kill someone on any given day! :tongue:

I allow her to go to Selvadorada for a week and she comes home very happy with the experience. I often bring a single male or female friend with her and sometimes she and her friend have some fun along the way, the sights the sounds.. the bedroom is not off-limits either with her.

Too bad we can't get more worlds like Selvadorada with some nice objectives to do as a part of the vacation experience. Once awhile ago i was mixing Sulani with day and night fishing and then with Selvadorada, tomb hunting and fishing as well, it was an enjoyable experience.

Gen 1 - 4 stays almost exclusively in Willow Creek since they were all born there(in Laitha's case, she was put there when I created her.). Gen 5+ has been to all the worlds.

Yes but I place a restriction that they can only go when invited or for vacations. That way I want get off track and decide to start playing another file in that world because I feel the need to change it.

It has to make sense for my gameplay. I have also developed a travel system where my sims pay for almost everywhere they go. There are limitations and restrictions of course. This helps to get rid of the millions the accumulate.

Yes, I will send my sims pretty much where I want to. It especially gives my poorer sims an opportunity to get around.

I will say that Mt.K, Sulani, Sivadorado and Granite Falls are used more as vacation worlds. Oasis Springs is my Palm Springs with almost all lots being some type of venue.

Many of my lots have more than one purpose such as an office building/cafe, cafe/bowling ally, Arcade w/small park/pool, bar/spa ( in brightchester ), Museum/photo studio, many can be converted from lounge to night club, many others such as parks, museums, even the admirals wreckage nightclub also have wedding spots, and some lots have mini motels. I have a few large malls where my sims have various options such as shopping, swimming, bowling, bar or nightclub, arcade, movie theatre and photo areas, all the malls are quite different with different types of areas, most were downloaded from the gallery and changed up a bit. Even most of my cafe’s and restaurants have some type of recreation indoor or outdoor, like video games, musical instruments. I found one outdoor cafe on the gallery that has a bar, kids play area, and a pool split in half with the slip’n’slide, the ice cream shop I have has a play area for kids, I have a karaoke bar that also has a scout room ( on top ), laundry mat and toddlers playground (underneath ). In strangerville I have a lot with a small laundromat, a small gym and a small cafe. I have many more lots too that do do double or triple duty. They get more traffic from my sims. I found a Grand Canyon on in the gallery that is a spa, outside I added a tent, a bar-b-que and picnic tables, even a campfire for roasting marshmallows, so my sims could camp there too.

I found out one of the community lots ( via Eco living ) that I set up at the salthouse in San Myshuno, has a garden, marketplace, and maker space ( all in one in each slot ), …..and when I sent a sim there the other day, I saw sims gardening, selling things from the tables, and using the maker equipment, it pleasantly surprised me!

All the time. Part of the fun is taking a household outside of their hometown to stir up some trouble. Especially the Vampires. >:)

If they leave the house at all, which isn't too often, as many of my families have small kids and are too busy with them to even think about going out. But if they do, it's to whatever world i feel like sending them to at the moment. I see no reason not to let them travel freely, as the whole game is my playground.

Greetings - My gameplay is very immersive so my sims travel a lot.

As it relates to vacations, Sulani, Windenburg, Henford-on-Bagley, Mt. Komorebi, Salvadorada and now Tartosa, are used as my "far away" travel worlds (Sims have to fly to get there - as such, airport lots are in those worlds). (My astronaut Sims travel to outer-space & the "space station" but do not visit the alien planet.)

I play Batuu as a fantasy world and treat it like a costume Disney Vacation Gameplay Challenge.

The remaining worlds are used as towns connected by roads. There are rental lots in each of my worlds/towns, which are used for overnight stays and vacations. (i.e., when a family from Sulani visits Willow Creek, they will stay in the rental property and vis-a-versa.)

To support my gameplay style, I use the mod that keeps Sims in their home worlds, because having everybody from all over walking about everywhere breaks the illusion.
