Do Your Sims Regularly Visit Other Worlds?

I frequently have my sims travel but it's usually to Sulani, Windenberg, San Myshuno in those rare times where San My isn't the home world, or Forgotten Hollow where I always place an underground (literally) vampire nightclub. Tail's end is still my favorite lot ever, and Hound's Head isn't far behind. Those views.

My sims always visit every other world for one reason or another, even if it's only for an occasional vacation.
Regularly Windenburg and Sulani are most picked on, a month ago it would have been henford-on-bagley and evergreen harbour.

Edit: of course if this weddings dlc gets fixed and then gets a good discount on the next sale, tartosa might appear fairly regularly, it all depends what i got in mind.

I try not to have my Sims venture out of their world unless it makes sense, in my mind some worlds are closer than others so could make sense if they travelled for the whole day.

Really just depends on the Sim and the circumstance surrounding their travel!

Since I play in rotation and have families in all worlds, I tend to keep their visits to their own world most of the time. It isn't always possible though, as there is obviously not enough space to have all kinds of lots in each world.

But, say if I wanted my Willow Creek family to visit a park, they would visit the one in Willow Creek. But if they wanted to go to a community garden they would have to travel elsewhere.

I mostly keep them in their own world. Newcrest and the small world that came with Get to Work are considered central areas for most of my Sims. I have restaurants, cinemas, bowling alleys, etc. in those worlds. Britechester is much the same way. Students may live at home and go to school there, or live on campus and visit home on the weekends.

Otherwise they only visit other worlds on vacation or to visit family members that have moved to another world.

In most of my saves I consider the so-called worlds as neighborhoods, villages, or towns within districts, which are in turn within provinces (usually with two or more districts per province) inside a single nation. The only ones I currently consider far enough to need imaginary travel of any notice are Selvadorada, Sulani (both part of one province in most of my saves), Mt. Komorebi, and Batuu. And even then, with the exception of Batuu, the travel isn't greatly significant.

I have set some limitations like my sims do not usually go to Sulani just for a quick visit and they have a preference towards lots in their home world. That said they still visit other worlds regularly, especially when they get phonecalls from someone. I also play rotationally so there's that.

More or less. I'll sometimes send my sims to a different world for some specific activity or goal I want them to accomplish, so there are some world I visit more than others. Otherwise, I don't like sending my sims to completely different destinations for just a few hours, so the addition of rental lots in any world has been a really good thing for my own gameplay. Now, I just send my sims on vacation for a few days when I want them to spend time in a different world, whether it's to accomplish a goal or just for a change of pace.

Pretty much, I sometimes set up rentals for them without the restrictions we had in ts3 I might imagine they can travel specific ways or just have their day trips depends on my mood.

My sims travel all over the worlds with no restrictions. Dinner invites, party at the ruins, karaoke nights, festivals, doesn't matter where they live, they will attend it if I fancy it. Then there is the issue of themed venues, restaurants, cafes, shops, can't have everything in one world, so they travel to the one they need to visit. My sims also tend to live in one world and then earn their money in another world through a business or busking. I have a sim who is an archeologist and basically earns her money on "vacations".
