I know what you mean, there are loads of patients coming in and the staff there don't actually do anything. There's always a huge queue by the desk and the receptionist just sits there looking at them.. I wish they could put up some chairs and get the receptionist tell them to sit down or something. The Doctors don't really do much either and there's more patients than you can actually cure in a day (including some weird ones who think they have every illness imaginable and come back to the hospital everyday for treatment).
There was one Doctor that I thought was kinda useful but then he just randomly died in the hospital of old age and now his urn is just stuck there... Its quite funny because now the staff spend most of their time crying by it instead of working and that seems to make it worse. Don't have the heart to move it though haha. I kinda wish they'd hire more adults than elder NPCs because half of the staff members are elderly now... I'm looking at them and placing bets on who is going to die next!!!
Another thing I wish they would do is make the patients have different outfits. Anybody who has had a day of all child patients will understand that it is super confusing, especially if you've been daydreaming and not bothered to check the name of the Sim you are treating...it gets really crazy when they walk back form the x-ray machine and sit down and you're debating what Sim you were just treating!
