I sort of feel like GTW was abandoned. I honestly think it has a large amount of untouched potential. There are so many things that could have been done with it and still can be done. I don't know what the reason is behind ignoring the issues with the first EP released, but there are simmers who still use that pack. I recently started playing again (Call it giving the game another chance but looking at it at a different perspective) and my sim is in the doctor career and it's painful to get through the day. I used to use CoolSpear1's doctor reimagined mod just to have a productive day, but I honestly prefer to play with little to no mods so I passed on it this time around. Anyway, with all the issues, it honestly makes me want to put her in a different career. I get they've improved with how things used to be at launch, but they really shouldn't forget about the first EP they came out with.
That being said all of the ideas that you have listed would work great with the EP!
I also wanted to add they could have expanded on alien abductions. Just recently in my game, my sim got abducted right in front of her date that came home with her and he had no reaction to it at all. He just walked away into her house like he didn't just see her get taken away. That bothered the heck out of me. There should have been some sort of tense moodlet you know? If I saw someone get abducted in front of me I would freak the heck out lol
It seems like a lot of things for this EP need to be tweaked and improved on.
