I'm with Admiral8Q on this. Usually when there isn't much time to do something majorly time consuming like learning a new skill or doing homework before they have to go to work, school, or some event, but they do have all their needs in green.

I top them off before work, too. And I prefer to throw away plates (in the outside trash) rather than let the Sims wash them. My sims have things to do! Places to go! If I can entertain myself collecting plates, the sink doesn't get used, and it takes that much longer to break.

I just start filling the needs when they're yellow. I think if they're green they're good :)

I try to send my sims to work and school with their needs as full as I can. I definitely do focus on their needs in the lower stages of green more than I should at other times though.

Oh yes, I keep my sims topped off. Especially vampires and their thirst.
It is not fun when your vampire goes berserk and attacks someone.

It really depends on what my sims are doing (and whether or not I'm on a legacy save :P) but yes, on my normal save game I too fill as soon as the green starts to drop. Especially if I'm just ever so close to a skill gain they need for work/school/aspiration or what have you.

Yup, I put that Nano trashcan in every household. Very handy and profitable too. :D

Sure. Not all the time, but sometimes I want the need filled up for whatever reason and I have the time and easy enough opportunity, so why not?

Oh yeah, I stay on top of their needs. If I see they are fixing to get to into the yellow I take care of them. Especially if it’s their bladder. It’s crazy but I’ve wanted to challenge myself and let them get in the red before I do anything.?
