I enjoy the vampires very much. I think they're arguably the best they've ever been.
That being said... I despise the break-ins, especially when my Sims are on a lot other than their own. I fail to see how enforcing rules on the player is what makes a quality pack. Why can't I leave when a vampire strolls in, looking for some necks?
To make matters worse, they have that ridiculous, over-the-top creep animation that makes them so slow, so when they're "breaking in", it takes an absurd amount of time for some vital menu features to be unlocked again.
Don't get me wrong, I found the animation to be quite creepy when I first saw a vampire using it when they were breaking into my house. But it's way too slow.
Now, though, vampire break-ins seem to be bugged in my game. As soon as they're near my door, they just walk off. It removes a more "dangerous" aspect of the game, but at least I haven't had everything I was doing put to a halt in a long while.
