Does anyone else miss The Store?
...*Ducks and covers head from the onslaught of boos and hisses and so on from many people* I know, I know!
Look, I KNOW The Sims 3 store was/is ridiculously overpriced and probably still buggy (Or it used to be sometimes anyways), and so on and so forth. I KNOW!
But...
...Am I the only one who plays Sims 4 that wishes, sometimes, there was a Sims 4 Store, too? I miss the excitement of really cool new content that you couldn't get any other way! I miss the REAL excitement when new venues and even new worlds were released! I'm all for what content we get from EP's, GP's and SP's, I am! But as I'm not getting HSY's until at least the majority of the game killing bugs are dealt with, I just find myself thinking back fondly to the Sims 3 Store...
I remember one C*yber Monday sale the Sims 3 store had and the string I started for it in the Sims 3 Store forum section at that time. I think I titled it "Pours the coffee" or something like that. It was so much fun hanging out on the string while the Daily Deals section of the Store had all these really awesome deals going like super crazy fast -blinkandyoumissit- sometimes, with AWESOME sales and people were so excited and posting happily on the forum about stuff beforehand, and trying to console people who weren't able to get the deal they had been waiting for...
It was a real sense of community and shared giddiness. That. THAT, and the excitement of new content along with it, that I dont have to wait months for, I guess all that, is what I'm missing...
