Actually, my human sim befriended Vlad right away. She does have the evil trait, though, which he has too....they became fast friends, then best friends. Now they are married, she is turned into a vampire, and they have two kids. The hissing noise he makes only affects humans, so once he turned her into a vampire, it had no affect on their relationship
