Both of my sims have tried to befriend him, I always use friendly interactions with him but he just won't get with the program. I feel like he's just a grumpy old vampire. Anyone have any luck with making friends with him?

Vlad takes a while to cozy up to. He's an Evil/Loner Sim, so he gets cranky if people hang around him for too long.Rosemary mostly interacted with him through fun stuff, like playing chess or Don't Wake the Llama. Also stargazing. In my game Vlad has a long term lover that also manages the house businesses but otherwise not really. Each major vampire group has a house. Vlad is the nominal leader of the overall government (for vampires) in my game, but was mostly selected because he's not too medelsom and leaves others alone. Each house has a certain set of traits and a sphere of influence that they are part of. There are rules that strictly bind their society together that have made my vampires fun to rotate through, and I have one vampire that doles out punishment, but can't play in politics or deceive while playing his role (Caleb).

My sim does actually. She's his girlfriend and they have a teen son. But the other sims I have made I had them talk to him, and he was very opening to them. I guess I'm just lucky though. I wish you luck in befriending Vlad.

I had an evil sim recently that Vlad almost instantly liked. They got to be very good friends. Most of my sims don't bother with him because it is too much work to befriend him.

Nope! A little bit ago I executed the slimeball with MCCC. Teach him to feed on my sims while they're sleeping!

I just turned my Sim into a vampire by Caleb as they had a little romance going, but as I wanted her to be a grand master I thought it best to befriend Vlad. Not only did she befriend but also struck up a romance which they were both well into! He would serende my Sim all the time and play the organ for her. It was like love at first sight. So my Sim had a baby with him. When she was born I invited him over and "showed her off", but then he started yelling at my Sim OVER the crib! And then the Evil trait was revealed haha. He obviously has commitment issues too.

My sims chatted with him online a bunch. It was pretty easy to become friends with him after that. He also began flirting with my sim which was pretty funny
