after 9,500 hours of play, i've been playing it but not with the same type of interest i've had in the past. It doesn't help that EA isn't doing enough to bring something new to the game. Everything recent has been a variation on a theme, it's not really that interesting or exciting. The latest wedding pack is a sign of the times, no care or love for the game from EA's side, it's a half built mess needing a first day release patch just to save face and not only that, but it needs another patch from what i can tell and we already have weddings on this game, so why does this game need a pack to put more emphasis on it?
I crave a more exciting bit of content, but i don't believe EA have the vision or drive to do something like that, but i sure as hell would love to be proven wrong!
Besides that, there are some issues in this game that consistently annoy me and it does not relent, not for a second. The main issue is this wreched beyond believe autonomy, it's the worst thing this game could ever have, it's not fit for purpose as it stands. A new more cooperative autonomy that actually makes sense would take the negative sting out of each day. It reared its ugly head in a livesteam of this wedding content a week ago and i found it highly amusing but also sad at the same time, watching as sims did their usual chaotic, unbridled nonsense, but that's exactly what i come to expect off it.
