Does anyone get bored playing TS4

Before you all go on the rant of it's boring then don't play it, i have taken a break and played TS2 instead.
But anyways, i've been playing the sims 4 lately, and something about it is lacking. i like the new scenarios but then after the story, there's no continuation or another scenario that one can play without starting a new game. Also played strangerville, but never completed the story-- maybe it's me and i need help completing the story but everything seems a little bland. i also don't really like how the whole neighbohood ages even if you play 1 household. i like playing with premades, although have created more families, but eh. Anyone else with me on this?

When I first started playing Sims3 years ago, it was boring to me and felt like a chore to play from the word go, simply because I didn't understand how to play it. I had the same issue with Sims4 when I began playing it some time after that. But this time round I'm playing Sims4 again, I know how to play it better and loads of it is still new to me so it's much more fun. Also, I play with aging off so I can spend a lot of time getting to know the individuals and do as much as I can with them before I give them birthdays and move them onto the next stage of life.

Though last week I felt depressed, dissatisfied and unmotivated (unrelated to the game) and was tempted to make one of my Sims cheat on his husband at the gym because I wanted a punishment for my feelings. I guess I needed to change something up in my own life. (I don't agree with cheating btw lol.)

I have made three extra families to play with, with different careers and traits, (well, technically four families but one of them is a guy and his dog, and I discovered the dog as a "stray", felt immense guilt for not giving them a home and made them a lodger with one of those new families of mine) so I've got some variety. And making houses based on the floorplans I've drawn over the years is very fun for me if I do need a break from playing with my Sims. And I think that could be it for anything you get bored with; if you're doing anything too much, it becomes boring to you. I have the worst attention span and need variety in my hobbies.

i don't agree with cheating either but like to play don lothario in the sims 2!

I've been playing sims 4 almost every day for about a decade. I've never gotten bored. If you have an imagination, realize this isn't a game to beat, but to live as all sorts of different types of people and don't always play using the same play style it's basically impossible to get bored by this game.
