- Personally, I like it! I’ve only had one sim die from that but it was on purpose because I wanted to see what it was like.
- I've still never witnessed any of my sims die from an emotional death.
- I usually prefer realism, so probably not, although I haven't had one of my sims die this way yet. Maybe if it was a minor character I was going to kill anyway, it could be amusing, but if it was one of my main sims, then nooooooooooo.
- They're too silly for me. I'd rather have real heart attacks than anger-induced ones and I dislike how our sims can die from laughter or embarassment but not from getting sick. FWIW, the best thing to do on a sim with Hysteria is have them calm themselves down in front of a mirror.
- thatsnotsweg7 years agoSeasoned AceI enjoy them. I've only had one accidental emotional death around when I first started playing and didn't know how they worked yet. Otherwise it's been pretty easy for me to avoid death unless I want it to happen.
- Louise_Goethals7 years agoSeasoned AceI've never had a sim die of it without me cheating it. I like them though, bc it's the most effortless way to murder others :naughty:
Ever starved a sim to death in a dungeon? Takes about 3 days during which your sims can't leave the lot.
Using a cheat to give a sim the mortified mood? Kills them within minutes :smirk:
Also, it's the only way vampires can directly kill sims, since drinking plasma only makes them pass out.
(No, I am not a psychopath.) - mariefoxprice837 years agoSeasoned AceI've never experienced it, but I think it's great because there aren't that many instances of random death in Sims 4/
- Sigzy_297 years agoLegendI do. But they aren't as frequent as they used to be sadly.
- I've had my Sims become hysterical multiple times without dying, it's so strange when lots of people have seen their Sims die very quickly and unexpectedly this way. I've yet to see an emotional death in any of my games.
- Hermitgirl7 years agoSeasoned AceYes I like them. I still have to work for them normally. The only one I've had just happen without a little push or encouragement from me was mortified. It was pretty early in the game release though and I think they have tweaked it since. When I'm setting up to make them happen some are kind of hard to make happen. I've gotten pretty close on playful/hysterical a few times without helping it along.
