- simsimsere7 years agoSeasoned AceI like them, but I've never had an emotional death happen by accident. I would like to. I think I don't see hysterical deaths because I don't play to make my sims overly happy... but I enjoy the idea that I could make everything "perfect" and it would cause them to die. My only hysterical death this far took a lot of moodlet grinding.
- kurimisarang7 years agoSeasoned AceI've never had a sim die like that, but the wishing well from Romantic Garden gave me a ghost child that had died of laughter once, and she's such a cute child and the most pleasant ghost I've ever seen. The worst she can do is make sims around her playful.
- simwolf797 years agoNew AceHonestly, I adore these particular deaths. I love the unpredictable side of gameplay so it works for me. Since hysteria is so easily triggered by a tumble dryer and a tv, especially with kids in the house, I just make sure there are a few mirrors around the place for calming sims down. I'd like to see a broken heart emotional death though.
- Feisbukaite7 years agoSeasoned AceI have multiple sims who died from laughter. I like it, but I think it’s too easy to doe from laughter, I would like it to be a little harder

Hate it. Thank God for MCCC, which I use to switch off emotional deaths. It’s way too easy for sims to become hysterical.
Oh please tell me how to switch it off? - icemanfresh7 years agoLegendI don't really care for them that much. It was also annoying how in the early versions of the game, a failed marriage proposal would already create enough embarrassment moodlets for your sim to become mortified. I had my sim try a couple of times, and he got mortified and died immediately before I could do anything about it, so I had to restart a lot. It's ridiculous, and it soured the idea for me.
- Meka32117 years agoSeasoned AceI like them sometimes, as it's the only unexpected event that really happens in my game. One time my Sim wished for a promotion at the wishing well after giving the well, $5k....which was all his money. The wishing well was not in a good mood....he got demoted, and immediately became enraged. I switched over to his wife, trying to collect since now their money was gone....& next thing I see is an autonomous fight breaks out, with my enraged Sim....he loses the fight...and dies right there of anger. I found that interesting.
& then my first emotional death with hysteria....Bella Goth was remarried, with a new baby. She's in the bathroom taking a pregnancy test, while her husband is playing with the baby. I had him make a silly face, not even realizing he was hysterical. He died....while Bella was coming out to tell him the news she was pregnant. I thought this was so tragic....Bella ended up having triplets....a widow, single mom, with 4 little ones, plus Alexander and Cassandra.
Now the hysteria deaths can get on my nerves as I don't like laundry making my Sims playful. I've had my Sims die from this and I usually just have to quit and play again. How does laundry make you playful? Doesn't make any sense.
I don't think I've ever had a Sim die from embarrassment....would be cool to see that. - It's a cool concept but I wish it was done differently. The playful and embarrased deaths seem silly to me and I would rather have a sad or tense death in the game.
- LatinaBunny7 years agoSeasoned AceNope. I hate all of those emotional deaths. (A few of my sims tend to get happy and giggly fast, and everyone in one of my families always gets embarrassed with the common bathroom invasions, lol.)

Agree.
