I've played it in Evergreen Harbour as the Simple Living lot trait, goes well with the Eco goals of the game.

I use the farm features in most worlds. Landscape wise they fit very well in both Windenburg and Brindleton Bay, also forgotten Hollow can easily benefit from some farm vibes. Only world I felt farming was weird was in Oasis Springs. I have one llama there, but I guess it is quite hot (knowing there are different llama species and some might like a hot climate even). Chicken feels ok in OS though :)

Households not keeping farm animals can still grow food, work on cross stitching, and make a living from canning etc. So there is not really any world restrictions with this pack. Perhaps that is why it feels so much like an addition to the game, not just with one more world but lots of features that can go anywhere.

Which makes it a true expansion pack, perhaps the only one in the game.
  • Yeah i’m currently playing a family based around CL and alot of its features work in almost every world. I think, besides Henford, it works reallyyyy well in Brindleton Bay because you get that ranch-like architecture/vibe along the water. And simple living is really fun to add challenge to any household, whether it’s to force sims to order groceries, or to grow their own ingredients. I actually am really liking the pack a lot as i’ve gotten to dive more into it lol

I'll put a farm and livestock in anywhere, including San Myshuno penthouse units. I'll also stick wild rabbits and birds and foxes into parks in any neighborhood.

My plan for my current legacy game is to slowly convert every residential lot, and maybe community lots as well, to be self-sufficient with simple living and off-the-grid challenges, and lots of eco-friendly and solarpunk architecture.
