Does anyone still play completely vanilla? (PC/MAC Players)

I've always been curious if anyone else playing vanilla? Have you always played this way or do you go back and forth with Mods and cc from time to time? What do you do to make your vanilla game fun? ...

For me, the Sims isn't the Sims without mods and CC. It's one of the things I've liked most about the series since Sims 1. But it's possible to have fun without it.
