Update for me at least. It's been awhile doing this and I tried a club.. to attempt to do this with sims not living in the house. Well they took the first one readily enough but even trapped with no food for a week they don't seem to want to take the second piece in a time frame that will kill them off. I'm disappointed lol... I did milk a few essences though. Not sure I want to touch Mortimer's Essence of Flirtation though.. hmm.
I'm sure in the past I've trapped sims not living in the household and they took it (with much work) but it's just not happening for me now and I give up.
So I guess I have to move them in to kill them off or for essence production. Yep..that'll work.
It's a shame though. You'd think they would take it if they were starving at least.
