I would like that as well ... I want Sims to reminisce about certain things in their life periodically. I would also think that some memories might take on more precedence than other memories.
In TS2, I think Sims accessed memories in their memory log whenever a thought bubble would appear. I could be wrong though. Because I know that my Sims in TS2 would have that burning thought bubble with a Sim that wronged them, even if the relationship was fine and the "bad relationship" was over. I haven't paid too much attention to it, I just know that I did enjoy the memories panel to see what has happened in my Sims life.
