Does Jungle Adventure allow you to excavate outside Selvadorada?

Stupid question: Does Jungle Adventures update digging in other worlds with it's new Archaeology skill, or is excavating exclusive to the vacation world? Also, can children excavate?

Children can dig up stuff in the dig sites (I know, I had one do it) but they can't analyze them or develop the archeology skill until they are teenagers.

But there are no dig sites outside of Sevadorada without using the debug cheat.
