Does Seasons mark the beginning of story progression?

Sounds great! I think they managed to do it well in sims 3 and with all the new tech, they could do it better in sims 4. I'd love to have a vampire family that was easier to create. And many supernatural families would be better if the game automatically did family trees and large families with sims supposedly living centuries instead of decades.
