I'm really on the fence about this expansion. I love all the content that's been included (gifts are finally returning!!) but I'm worried about the changing and loading of the seasons slowing the game down and bogging down the overall performance. I understand that everyone's experience with it will be different because of computer hardware but I rune Geforce and intel core i7 so while I know the game should in theory run fine, you never know. I mean look at how TS3 ran.
It really depends on what one is running and how well this program was developed. TS3 ran well on my systems and if there was any lag it was attributed to an developer issue such as an bad patch for in theory the better the machine the better the game runs and that is with any game. The only thing with Sims series it does not matter what specs you are using your game does not scale or down to it's specs even though you may get better graphics with the type of card you use. However, in time lower end may feel the strain and notice that with some packs the specs do change as they add on but as far as features goes not much goes into them if it taxes the engine and lower end systems. I would expect Sims 4 to run smoothly on my systems being it does not have many features that can challenge them.
