Does 'Strangerville' hint that cars are coming soon?!

Unravel the Story – Immerse your Sim in unique and mysterious events. Unmarked vans appear in neighborhoods, government agents use secret listening devices, and scanners are key in detecting the unusual.

Does this mean that the vans drive into the world?!

Could they have figured out the mechanics of introducing vehicles?

When the playable vehicles will be available, be sure Maxis will be very proud to show us an explicit video with sims using a car.

Unless they do it as a surprise like they did toddlers. I would expect that if/when cars are added they'll have basic cars patched in for all players, they they can sell Sims 4: Vehicles Stuff with more models, decor pieces to outfit a garage, etc. B)

I think strangetown is a hint that EA does not give a fart what we want.

As other people have said, many players have requested the military and other "normal" careers. This adds the career with a twist -- a hint of darker and more mature play; other players want that sort of play. If it's a moderate success maybe we'll get a bit of darker play if/when Witches and other supernaturals come to the game. What looks like a training dummy seems to indicate that the Martial Arts might be making a comeback -- that's been another request from many in the community. I'll be adding those to my gyms to sit alongside the punching bags (hope there are some spectacular fails at the early stages).
