That statement is a year old. So, one down and how many more? Funny, I didn't see a lot of content (packs) that stood up to that claim.
Grant tweeted and then deleted that we still have over 3 years of content for Sims 4 as of yesterday.
Then why did it get deleted shortly there after, according to those who saw it? Yes, you can release two packs within a year's time and last for three more years. I'm not saying they aren't planning for three more years, they probably are. TS2 was planning a lot of stuff that was left on the cutting room floor and so was TS3. We can speculate all day long, they can plan ideas for years to come, but when the next Sim game is ready, as we all know, no matter if a year from now or three years from now, EA will end TS4 and start promoting TS5 (whatever it is) and all that planning won't matter will it. I don't mean to harp on that point but you know as well as I do, once they are ready to start promoting a TS5 game, it won't matter how much content they planned for TS4. And that is where TS4 players don't want to face facts. EA will decide to end this game when they want to push TS5 even if that is next year. It won't matter what any guru said.
ETA: Look at facts, didn't Sims Mobile or was it Fire Monkey who recently stated they weren't going anywhere, recently get dissolved and one or the other developing team laid off and or moved around, and one or the other taking over the other team's games...Nothing about what GuruGrant has ever said is written in stone. Things Change.
