@idkemily - if you go to the gallery, select rooms, and search the hashtag #deathflowers, you'll find a number of rooms filled with deathflower plants. D/L them into your parks and homes, and you'll have a decent supply.
Since seasons, the plants in my parks/public spaces never seem to have anything to harvest, ever. But not to worry! There are simmers (like @mcrudd and iirc, @luckyheather ) who make 'balcony farms'- - all the harvestable plants spliced into just a few, so you can have all the plants even if your sim lives in a tiny space. Err, but if you want a lot of death flowers, it's best to d/l unspliced plants; you get more deathflowers with unspliced plants.
