Dog acting weird

I have one that is obsessed with the fireplace when a fire is burning. She just stares at it as if mesmerized by the flames. She also has to sniff every new item that goes into the house. And she loves the snow. Every time I look to see what she is doing she is outside chewing a toy in the snow. But once a blizzard hits she runs into the house then refuses to go for a walk. Quirky pooch. :)
