Dogs in Cats & Dogs

Question

Am I not finding all of the features or something? There are hardly any beds or toys available for dogs; you can't select them to at least see what their needs are or what they're thinking; and they usually just sit around and do nothing. Oh, and out of the three I've had so far, none of them jump on beds. Kids also can't take them for walks. Dogs don't play with other dogs.
There's hardly any features for dogs in this EP. What was the point in buying it? It's lacking so much. Worst Pets EP made.

For this, I'd suggest repairing the game (Right-click on your game in Origin).
There are food bowls and (flat) pet beds for both cats and dogs. There are balls for dogs. You can train dogs, there is also the agility course.
While yes, it is strange that they can't jump on the bed, they can go on the couch. Dogs can also swim and sims can play fetch so the ball lands in the pool (forcing dogs to swim). Yes, while they have focused little more on cats this time (I'm a cat person, but please don't hate me), they have made animations for puppies, small dogs and large dogs from scratch. The laundry day stuff pack showed that they will still also focus on cats and dogs when creating new objects.
How will dogs improve over time? Only time will tell.
