In my current play, Don is my female son's 1 baby daddy, Travis Scott the 2nd. I was surprised how good a dad he is, he was always around. He literally was at her apartment all the time and would help parent the toddlers as well as do dishes and take out the trash. He would mop up the messes the two toddlers made before I could get my sim to do it.
It was unexpected how much better compared to Travis, although Travis did come around and call his son. He would just spend most of the time on the PC when he was at my sims apartment and seemed to mostly ignore his son.
Even now that my sim is married and both boys are children, Don invites his son to hang out twice as much as Travis.
I have to add that I think Don is the hottest, sexiest sim, I make him really hairy with body hair cc, I could not stand all the men in my game looking like plucked chickens, so all my guy sims have body hair.
