If folks can’t use a simple toggle like that (by simply not using the lot type) and still complain, they have a personal issue that needs to be addressed. Perhaps the only solution for them is to quit playing the sims and just live their realistic life, because it can’t get any more realistic than that.

Yeah, and we tried to tell people to use garlic to stop vampire break-ins but EA still listened to the complainers.
Instead of using the tools the game gives us, they want EA to stop it altogether.
that's ea's fault for listening and doing what these spoiled players whine for. they're basically saying "the more you whine & the more annoying you get, the more you'll get heard and get away with". so of course what does people do?
