The thing is we're not the minority, we're actually playing the game. The thing that other game devs take into consideration is how many are playing the game as is and not complaining about it. Stardew valley dev can see how many are playing and ignores the complaints about the fishing difficulty in the game. He hasn't nerffed the fishing mini game no matter how many complain about it.
