@halloweenchild, I actually made that post to show what can happen when complaining about the way the game plays can result into a forced quest line. You are now forced to join the guild, can't say no or avoid joining the guild. The devs listened to the complainers and the quest line is the way they tried to appease the complainers. Which is sad because all you had to do in the earlier games was load your game and try to join the guild again, avoiding what made you fail when you tried the first time.
