I was wondering if i would start new topic or put it to negative theard, but I decidet to start new one because I don't want to complain. I just want to discuss, weird EA choices because it is not first time when they did something controversial. Let's start:

1. In the new pack we will receive two full kitchen sets. It is amazing, but why is there no new fridge, diswascher or cooker hood?
2. DHD is focused on decorating and renovations. Why did EA add only one wallpaper and no flooring and no another build sets?
3. A lot of modular furniture? Perfect! But why only few swatches?
4. Why island counters have fronts on the back again?
5. New kitchen sets have no matching bars.
6. I afraid that without base game swatches update it will be impossible to create renovations as per customer preferences. For example only industrial counter we have, has only 3 swatches. Curtains are also very limited.
7. 9 new beds, but nothing new for toddlers.
8. Only one drawing desk (?)
9. No new electronics. Especially TV sets and stereos.

Do you have any idea why EA create packs like that?

It's a boring answer I know, but Maxis have a budget for pack creation. To add those items you mentioned and/or additional swatches would presumably take more time/ resource which would take them over budget. As to why they choose to prioritise the particular items included in the pack, I'm guessing its what they perceive the majority of Simmers want. I've heard lots of people say they want more kitchens in the game, but not new major appliances, electronic equipment, etc.

I agree that the lack of wallpaper/ flooring is an odd choice though.
