Dream Home Decorator Positive Thoughts Thread

I'm really excited about this pack. The furniture looks great, and building is my favourite thing to do in-game so having a job that revolves around that is great. I'm excited to see what else this pack will bring.

I love it! I really enjoy decorating in this game, and I’ll gladly pay $20 for all of those items (I mean it was $5 just for one kitchen or outdoor space with the kits). It’s so much like the TS3 career that happened to be one of my favorites, I’m all for this.

What I see makes me pretty happy. There are a lot of items I was missing, including curtains with a small rail, a modern kitchen with modern top shelves, modern kitchen range, a proper walk in closet so I don't have to use my imagination and build one out of kitchen shelves. More visually appealing bunk beds (although I do hope that we get all the single beds made into bunk beds version too at one point)

Toddlers will get a new item to play with, I wonder how it will work?

I wonder if preferences will work outside the career or not?

I do build, I don't know how fast I'll get bored of target specific builds (probably fast) and if I will be able to avoid builds that are already 'done'. I think this is will be the defining factor to whenever I'll like playing the career, but I think this pack will keep me busy anyway, regardless of that.

Preferences, lots of new and different furniture, a career i like... i'm getting this one at release.

I think it will be a great addition to the game. I like the toddler tent. Can't wait to see what all is in the pack.

Great timing with this pack for me.
My designer is still a teen, so she will be attending Uni and going for a degree that gives her a start on skills for the job, whatever they are.

She was going to be a scientist, but this pack has changed that.

I believe she will have plenty of interesting clients.
Many of my sims are entering the Uni stage, and their old bedrooms will be up for redesign by their parents.


Many of them will be graduating and getting their own places.

And then there are the dormies.
I make them over and tweak their personalities to make them more interesting.
My favorites will be given homes in the various worlds. Nami will probably have them as clients too.

I hope there will be a large selection of decoration requests so we don't get to do over the same houses and same rooms.

Back on topic: I cannot wait to get my hands on this pack! The BB catalog looks amazing! I am really excited for the new items that we haven’t had before like the toaster oven, sectional seating, modular storage! I am eager to learn how the career works, because I love active careers, and the textures on the objects are gorgeous. Someone has been taking notes from the Maxis Match cc creators.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's before and after pictures. I can't wait to find out more about this pack, but I think this will be the first pack I ever buy on release day!

I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea (and they don't have to buy it, do they) but I'm really happy to see so many other Simmers excited about something that I'm excited for too. :heart:
