Dream Home Decorator Positive Thoughts Thread

I'm loving the Build Buy. Even if it is, in broad strokes, more Conventional than my personal style. Not all my Sims have my "Fantasy Geek Living" aesthetic.

And hopefully the new preferences/likes-dislikes system will allow me to actually make Fantasy Geeks now, who prefer to read Fantasy Books and play Fantasy computer games and want Dragons in every room of the house. :smiley:

I liked everything about the trailer. The CAS items look great (not necessarily the swatch of the overall the protagonist was wearing, but there will be swatches I like) - especially the new boots and accessories. And I can see myself using all of the furniture and I don't mind the IKEA vibe of some of the stuff. And IKEA style furniture/pack is something I have also seen requested many times.

I only had one negative thought while watching the trailer: My Sims will not be hugging dudes in bathrobes!

@Netzspannung I like the IKEA style too, I was hoping for an IKEA stuff or kit pack one day, but I'll take a whole interior designer GP instead, thanks!

The blog when read carefully indicates that this pack is bigger than decorating. I hope they will cover it in some more depth on the Inside Maxis stream on Tuesday.

I think the majority of the community is liking it. The YT trailer has 26k likes and 502 dislikes.

I can’t wait to see all of the items individually, I agree it looks like a lot. I’m excited and thinking I’ll be able to unload a bunch of CC I’ll no longer need.
