I'm really hoping they have a new world they haven't yet shown us...
But, despite that, I am still quite excited and liking the look of a lot of the stuff in it. SO MANY new bunkbed styles! Yay! I've been trying to figure these out:

Likes: no idea + gardening
Dislikes: no idea + pink
I wonder if we can set likes and dislikes in CAS, cos that would be totally awesome! Hopefully, it is to do with the extra slot they showed near the aspiration slot. But if we can set them, I wonder what will happen with existing sims... maybe randomly generated likes and dislikes? But I guess we could CAS full edit and change them if we wanted to.
I posted my guesses earlier, Likes: Light colored furniture and Plants. Dislikes: Dark colored furniture and pink colors.
I hope we can set likes and dislikes in CAS too, it would make sense to do a renovation job for the goths with them liking dark colored furniture.
Or you could change so that they all love pink colors, I'm not judging. - AmeliaTorn4 years agoNew Ace

I'm thinking the two tables represent furniture preference, modern verse gothic maybe? I hope they tell us what furniture fits in what category as I know very little about furniture types.
If there are going to be preferences by style, then maybe they will go with the categories they already have in the filters in the buy mode (the filter items drop down menu). So you will be able to see there what furniture the game is considering a certain type even if you are not familiar at all. - orenjiAi154 years agoSeasoned AceThe new furniture look nice and trendy. ??

That could be it but...it sounds like that could restrict you a lot in what furniture you could use if you only have the base game and this pack. - AmeliaTorn4 years agoNew Ace

Yeah I keep wondering how they are going to handle that, maybe the NPC will only be able to ask for things that come with their respective pack + basegame? But that would restrict the gameplay for all those who don't have all packs, so it might not be as complex as style. - DaWaterRat4 years agoSeasoned AceI'm wondering if what we've all been thinking was a trait slot will open a new UI where we can pick likes and dislikes.
And I'm betting that the NPC's will pick styles (randomly assigned likes) based on all packs you own. - SimsBarbie4 years agoSeasoned Ace1. I enjoyed the home decorator career in sims 3.
2. I need to figure out which sim will have the HD career.
3. A lot of the furniture will be nice for the dorms. - Mk_27904 years agoSeasoned RookieThanks god!
First, the walk in closset assets: customizable dressers and wardobes! Hope it can fit under stairs.
Second, new appliances and customization: electric oven, worktop stoves and built-in ovens!
Third, modular furniture, new cabinets and counters options. Also new bunk beds
Fourth, sectional sofas! Let's the the possibilites! - Mk_27904 years agoSeasoned Rookie

@Netzspannung I like the IKEA style too, I was hoping for an IKEA stuff or kit pack one day, but I'll take a whole interior designer GP instead, thanks!
Just want to add this too:

The blog when read carefully indicates that this pack is bigger than decorating. I hope they will cover it in some more depth on the Inside Maxis stream on Tuesday.

Ooh, some of you are so good at spotting stuff I completely glaze over!
A lot of the furniture in this pack gives me vibes of Tiny Living and Eco, which is great as I loved the styles and colour schemes in those packs. TL is probably my favourite stuff pack.
