Ok, while the trailer really didn't sell me on this, the live stream once again has. I can't wait till June 1st.

Build/Buy : I like it and everything seems to have black and white swatches. It will be very useful. I wish there was a loft double bed as well. The small oven is a good idea, but it doesn't sound like there's a new recipe. It would have been nice to be able to bake cupcakes with it.

CAS : I saw some nice things, particularly those ripped skinny jeans and the off-shoulder cropped sweater.

Gameplay : Let's be honest, it's lacking, especially since Likes and Dislikes will be base game, with a few added with this GP.

This is definitely a fun pack and I already have a few Sims in mind of the Decorator career across my 10 saves. I think apartment renovations will be so much fun with the new modular furniture. With the constricted space, you can really use the neutral modular shelving to showcase decor items that speak to the clients personality and then add a few accent furniture pieces ... And I understand why some feel like it's just a career about something you can do anyway, but the gameplay elements are what adds the fun, in my opinion. Picking a gig, learning the clients likes & dislikes, having budget constraints, the little before and after montage ... really excited for this one!

The career seems (to me at least) to be a lot more developed than the other freelance or active careers in the way the gigs are organized and the way you interact with the client. It's true it may be a good way to get to know the npc I never cared about. I like that I can read what the design will be about and who is the client so I can avoid those houses that I don't want to rebuild, but maybe even for them the prompt will pique my interest? Will have to see. I think it works more like freelance in that you can't send on the gig alone? Or did I missed that?

Finally a new item for kids to play in!

I like that I can change the likes and dislikes as I want. I was a bit concerned if I would have to resort to cheat if the likes were to be assigned randomly for the not currently played households, but seeing that I can change them with ease, it's doesn't bother me.

We also get quite a good chunk of furniture especially the configurable ones 2 sets of kitchen, 2 sets of sofas, 2sets of shelves. and these object don't compare to a table, a regular sofa or a closet, because they have many pieces in them, so that's a lot.

There are couple things I wish were done better, but I'll leave it out of positive thread.

I didn't expect so many like/dislike options and Sims interactions too! This makes very happy!

Okay, I have so many thoughts! Lol.

- I love that we can have multiple likes & dislikes for each category, as well as the option to change them later on! Those are GREAT features! I honestly only expected to have one of each, & to have to use cheats to edit them, lol.

- The design channel is SO cute! My Sims will definitely be watching that, lol.

- I love that we can finally put the tv the on the wall! The modular is system is so cool & I can already tell that I’m going to be overwhelmed in the best way possible, lol.

- It was a really nice detail to have the option to take after photos from the same location! I also think that the before & after montage is adorable!

- I was not as impressed with CAS, & I do wish that there were more new options for the walls & flooring, but I mostly care about buy mode anyway, so those aren’t a huge deal to me. I also agree with the person who said somewhere that there are too many steps for the reveal, but otherwise, I think the gameplay looks really fun!

Overall, I am super impressed with this pack & am so excited to play it!!! My sims are going to have the most beautiful homes!! :)
