- MDianaSims6 years agoSeasoned AceCurrently 2, but I think 3 should be doable as well, especially if you have a sim with a decent amount of skills. It also depends on what extracurricular activities you do, I've found that E-Sports and Soccer do take up lots of time, whereas the organisations are easier to manage.
- SEREFRAS6 years agoLegendStill learning the new game. I might ease off by half of the amount of classes for each term.
- I'm not interested in the other (social) stuff at university - all I care about is my Sim getting top marks. Two classes gives my Sim plenty of time to do classes, homework, studying and work on any additional projects required for his classes; work on whatever skill is needed for a particular class and take care of his fun need.
He still hasn't made a single acquaintance at university - my ideal Sim! (I'm actually half-inclined to get C&D so that he can get a cat. I feel like his relationship with his carrot plant is rather one-sided. However, it never robo-texts him or calls at 3 am.) - thatsme_ever6 years agoSeasoned AceI still don't own the pack and it's killing me, but from what I've seen in videos, I think I'll go with 4 classes per term, at least for the time being, in order to enjoy the challenge as much as possible. If it feels over the top, I guess I'll go with 3 and have my Sim enjoy the experience.
- wehaveobsessions6 years agoNew SpectatorI found three to be the perfect mix for me on my first University play through. The biggest word of advice would be to knock out homework as soon as possible so it gives you time to enjoy the rest of the cool things university has to offer. ?
- JemmaTheSimmer6 years agoNew AceI started with three, but didn't get to do all the other stuff I wanted to do and keep my grades up. Barely had time to socialise at all. Now going to stick to two I think. Plus it works better with two week seasons, can do a full year at uni (taking a week off in winter and finishing one week into summer).
- Stina1701A6 years agoSeasoned AceI chose 3 but it will vary for me, depending on how good a grade I want my Sims to have and how many terms I want them to use. My goal in the beginning was 4 courses each over 3 terms but I gave up on 1st term when playing my tester Sim's first term.
He is on the distinguished Physics path in Foxbury and I started with courses 4 in first term (one of them was elective) and I must say that it was quite a ride. Very difficult and NO social life at all. Mostly because I want a full marks for this guy. He has to graduate with A+ or I will be a very sad panda.
But as I want some social life for him and maybe have him meet his sweetheart while in University, I decided to cut down his course load abit. Especially as he is in the organization the Bot Savants and I really want him to get the item he will be rewarded for getting the 3rd membership rank.
So his second term was 3 courses (one is elective) and which gave him the chance to get to tier 2 in his organization AND a girlfriend and first date+kiss.
The term he is on now (the 3rd) has only two courses (no electives) and the last one will have the last three, one of which will be elective. That makes 4 terms for him in all (9 required courses and 3 electives) and he has managed full marks so far and I am hoping that he will also get full marks in the terms he has left and be able to socialize a bit better. When he graduates and moves out I am going to have his girlfriend move in with him San Myshuno and then have her finish her schooling from the city.
So, from my experiences so far, I think 4 terms with 3 courses each should be sufficient for all of my Sims but I might tack on a fifth term for just some fun. But if I am only after a B or C in grade AND want to shorten their schooling, then more courses on each term is just fine too. - Mine are averaging 2 classes per term. First Sim I sent to university started off with 4 and I couldn't handle it. :# So I typically do 2 classes per term for all of my Sims now, though I am experimenting two Sims doing 3 classes.
I kind of like 2, though, since it takes just a little bit longer, and since I play my Sims for very long periods of time before they age, I appreciate that. - kiarasims4mods6 years agoSeasoned AceI did 4, but I think I'll go back to 2-3.
- I usually picked 3, but one time I did 2.
