- logionXSeasoned HotshotWell I am clearly not the target audience... somehow I feel that a korean kpop music video is not improving the game or making me more interested in the game in any way.
- All these collabs with music artists and no band/music pack? It better be coming, a band pack is literally the only thing I have been wanting to see get added in over 3yrs. There are other things I want but I want bands more then anything and in general better live performances at bars/lounges.
- In Asia, Hwusa is popular especially in Southeast and East Asia. I have many of my friends who are fan of her and are actually excited and got curious what the game is all about. This is a big step forward for EA as we know since mostly they have The Sims for America and Europe. Having advertisements in different parts of the world that would actually relate to them is actually helpful since each country has different culture.
In the Philippines Hwasa is very popular, alongside with many other Kpop groups to people aged 15 and up (EA target audience probably). So I can see this one to be as great investment to them. Not to mention, the korean music industry is huge. It also had a huge fanbase in Japan. So I would understand why they would invest to this. - Yeah, I saw that on her IG this morning! I also saw that Bam Bam from GOT7 partnered with EA, too (I'm not sure what his role is...) a few weeks ago.
- LiELFSeasoned AceK-Pop and Sims 4 are a strangely perfect union. Now that it's been brought up, I feel like it should have been obvious it would happen one day.
- I like it

"Well it's official: the Sims 4 has announced a K-pop collab for a surprise December update, complete with a new Sims 4 trailer, new Sims 4 gallery items/ sims to download."
It's more then just a song according to video. - This is really cool! The song very soulful too. Been wanting something Sims x Kpop related for a long time! Happy for this and MAMAMOO is very talented

Saw on twitter that they did another collab with another k-pop person that I really don't care about. It is like they are trying to appeal to a new audience. Fixing core issues with gameplay features instead would be a better way to gain more players, but that would just be common sense.
As much as I love J-Pop K-Pop etc I agree fixing issues in the game will win over more players. Fix what is broken first then worry about adding in content for a niche crowd. I really love K-Pop and J-Pop but it should have been something in the "Get Famous" pack that cost too much for so very little. I could rant on but I won't.- They have in the past with Sims games too use celebs to endorse their products and a lot of music collabs.
