If they spoke about every season except winter like that, then sure. But how the Seasons work, we haven’t been told much at all.

We don’t know how Fall/Autumn will work (if it’s gradual or if a loading screen will trigger it the first time you’ll travel in Fall/Autumn). We don’t know anything about the Scouts, the Rain, Storms, Hail etc.

They can only talk about what is shown in the trailer or blogs. That has been made clear now.

So it doesn’t say anything, other than they can’t talk about it until it’s been officially revealed.

Discussion or not there has been no snow build up seen in any world. That’s not something you withhold from the announce trailer. Seeing how snow is a flat texture in the trailer, that is what it will be in the final product. Their talking points are setup to put the winter discussion last to keep people under some false impression that there’s more there than there is. It’s a simple yes/no question that’s being dodged because they know it’s an obvious issue players will not like the answer to. Has nothing to do with any official reveal, the basics have already been revealed - we know what each season will look like.
