It's different then the one SimVIP showed.

If you click ''Pre-register Now'' it says - ''From June 9 to 11, EA will return to the Hollywood Palladium for its annual three-day gaming festival. At EA PLAY 2018, you will have a chance to play our next BattlefieldTM experience, new EA SPORTSTM games, and get an inside look at the stunning new action game, AnthemTM. The SimsTM 4 and our mobile games will be on hand, and, of course, we have a few surprises as well. And don't forget – tickets to EA PLAY are free!'' :)

What worries me about the wording is that it just says they will be "on hand" which seems to imply they will just be there to play and The Sims 4 has no big announcement! All of us have been hyping up this EA Play event and I just hope we aren't totally let down! :(

If it's something like a big EP or maybe even a GP, they'd probably have announced it already, a few weeks before, and have it there to play.

I'm confused about where people got the idea that there was going to be a big announcement at EA Play, though, or that if it wasn't at EA Play nothing was going to be announced anywhere. This is the only thing I can find, and it says nothing about anything happening at EA Play:

I didn't think of it that way. I am still waiting, with baited breath, for official news on whether my beloved PC Sims is going to be disappearing into the ether. I really hope that EA is just rearranging things with the employees and that Sims 4 PC is still a priority! It would be awesome for them to drop an expansion pack announcement and have people be able to play it at EA Play. We really need to hear something positive soon because these past couple weeks have been depressing for the series! :(
