I like the idea of getting better. But in what area are you wanting to see get better? The area of over all game performance or better contents?
I want bug fixes, body hair and something interesting to do for my Sims. I don't want more social social meta structure like clubs or NAPs. I hope lifestyles and sentiments won't ruin the game even further. "alanmichael1;c-17716190" wrote:

Those are some good choices. I was just remembering when I took an air boat tour of the mangrove area of the Everglades and how cool it was two years. Then I suddenly thought about what fun and interesting story telling would come from having air boats for the sims to ride in in the game. So now I'm wanting air boats in the game.- Anything is possible, but it is true that they would not just say it will be a weak year. I feel it does confirm yet another year of 4, though, and not the debut of 5.
It's nice to be optimistic, but this year was strong in the EPs and updates for me. Weak in GPs and SPs (not awful, but not my cup of tea on the latter) for me. So, hoping they will bring it all the way around for 2021. "Calico45;c-17716195" wrote:

I remember back about a year or two ago. There was talk about Sims 4 ending soon. But then a SimGuru chimed in and said that Sims 4 isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future.- actually if only i can have couple dancing back and maybe in multiple styles 2021 has already been saved
pls i beg
even if they have to add markers for it or something silly like that to fix the routing mess just give meeee couple dancing already TT - logionX5 years agoSeasoned AceWhile they have seen an increase in player numbers, other publishers like Ubisoft are expecting 2021 to be a difficult year because they are now seeing the effect of covid, Ubisoft are delaying all their games that they planned to release in the beginning of the year because they are starting to see problems getting their games made.
The packs that the sims team will release in 2021 have most likely been developed a lot while the developers have worked from home, game development is difficult to do from home because it requires a lot of organizing and communication.
So I am going to keep my expectations down, regardless what EA says. - The snowy escape expansion pack will be the last thing I buy from the Sims until they start to fulfill our existing request and bugs!!! I can't believe they had the nerve to say "strong year" lol maybe they were referring to all the disappointments ??? I'm not trying to be rude but I just miss how fun the Sims use to be (The Sims 3 I'm referring to). All the core elements we still don't have in this game and it's been 6 years. I really hope they honor us this next year. Keeping hope alive I guess
- I am expecting 1EP 1GP &1SP this will bring us up to August the Sims team will at that point start talking about change new beginnings possibly rebirth or something vague like that then In September they will release the Sims 5 trailer.
Well they did say a big year and a Sims 5 announcement would be BIG "sunman502;c-17716201" wrote:

Time to speculate. I am hopeful we'll finally get cars and sims we're not playing asking our sims to marry them in 2021

Cars would be nice. I know for a fact that cars can work in a closed world environment because Sims 2 had cars and Sims 3 Xbox 360 version and Sims 3 Pets Xbox 360 version had them also. And all three Sims games were in fact closed worlds.
The worlds in those games were designed to work with cars though. How would a car work in Sulani where there is no roads and the area is an island? A lot of Sims 4 worlds just aren't compatible with cars without a complete redesign of every neighborhood.
