I also don't have to actually play GF to realize I don't want to buy it. Each area should have had more lots. They should also have added a neighborhood with beachfront lots. It was their perfect opportunity to give us an area that has the beach vibe we've been wanting for a long time, they decided to pass. Just another decision amongst many that have left me scratching my head and very, very disappointed. Sadly, I've come to expect it from TS4 now. :'(
glitz is nice to a point, but I'd much rather have quantity and quality.
I'm one of those old-school players as well. I never delete maxis households. It's one of many things about the franchise that I have loved over the years. I love it when they bring back old friends from previous versions and I don't mind making a few new friends as well. I don't mind if simmers like to bulldoze everything and start with a clean slate, but that is just not my style. It's always awesome to get reacquainted with an old friend. :)
