I agree. I like what they did with the world in general terms, but it is way too small to really have that immersive LA feel. I'm disappointed in the lack of buildable spaces, but I don't think there's anything they can do now short of totally replacing the world.
I agree. Not only do they need to need to change the GF city, but they need to scrap the TS4 engine and start over. That is not going to happen though. That will cost too much and take too much time, when they can be making a lot of money off simmers who complain, but still buy.
In TS3, Nightlife was my favorite EP. It was a huge city with a lot of lots, content, and really gave you that high class vibe. The residential area where the rich and famous lived had a lot of lots and celebrities from various careers. Their houses were really impressive. "In town", you had apartments and a lot of venues to visit. A lot of lots were available to low to middle income sims on the outskirts of the city. Pretty realistic. I didn't like that a sim could become a celebrity just by being a friend of a celebrity, but for the most part, it was pretty impressive and I could tell that a lot went into it's development.
DSV is a huge disappointment to me. Sadly, just another example of a pack that I feel is rushed and done cheaply.
